Many students in Nigeria are looking for free MTN data because data is expensive.
I will share 2 ways that still work for me in 2026. No referral, no paying money.
Method 1: MyMTN App Daily Bonus*
Every day, open your MyMTN app. Go to "Daily Rewards" or "Play". Sometimes they give you 50MB, 100MB, or 200MB for free if you login everyday for 7 days. I got 500MB last week just by logging in daily.
Method 2: MTN Ayoba App;
Download Ayoba app and register with your MTN number. Ayoba gives you 500MB free every month to chat inside the app. Plus, if you chat well, they give you extra data for browsing. It is official from MTN so no fear of scam.
Warning: Avoid any website that says "Click this link to get 20GB free MTN data". Most of them are scam and will steal your number.
The best way to get data is still to make small money online and buy it yourself. That is why I write on Lodpost. With $1, I can buy 1.5GB and still remain money.
Try these two methods and tell me in comment which one work for you.
