If you live in Abbi or you visit Abbi in Delta State, you know that food is cheap but money still small for students.
I am a student and I manage my feeding with N1000 per day. Here are 5 foods that can keep you full in Abbi with that money.
1. Banga Soup and Starch;
This is our main food here. With N500 you can get small Banga and starch from mama for market. It will hold you from morning till night.
2. Abbi Native Soup (Ofe Ukpoka)
Some people call it palm fruit soup. Very sweet. You can cook it with dry fish and small meat. N600 to N700 is enough if you already have garri at home.
3. Boiled Plantain and Groundnut*
In the evening, if you go to Abbi junction, women sell boiled plantain. N300 plantain + N200 groundnut = full stomach. Very good for night.
4. Garri and Groundnut (Student Power)
No student can forget garri. With N200 garri, N200 groundnut and N100 sugar, you are good. That is N500 only.
5. Okpa;
If you go to Kwale road side, you will see Okpa sellers. N100 for one wrap. If you buy 4 wraps for N400 and add N100 pure water, you are okay till evening.
As a student, you don't need to eat big meat everyday. Manage small and save money for your data to write on Lodpost.
