Bad news for drivers - NNPC N66 discount has ended yesterday October 31, 2026.
From today Nov 1, you will pay FULL PRICE at NNPC stations. No more N1,303 in Lagos.
How Much Is Fuel Today Nov 1 2026?
Lagos NNPC: Now N1,369 per litre (was N1,303 with discount)
Abuja NNPC: Now N1,405 per litre (was N1,339 with discount)
Other stations: N1,420 to N1,480
Onitsha / Asaba / Owerri: N1,400 to N1,500 per litre because of transport
Depot price at Dangote is still N1,290, so some private stations may reduce to N1,380 if they buy from Dangote today.
What Happens Next?
Many Nigerians were hoping the discount would be extended, but Finance Minister said it was not a subsidy - NNPC funded it from its own profit, so it cannot continue.
Transport fare will increase from today. If you were paying N500 from Upper Iweka to Nkpor, expect N600 or N700 this week.
What You Should Do Today:
1. Don't panic buy - no fuel scarcity, just price increase
2. Use public transport if possible this weekend
3. Check NNPC station first - they are still cheaper than private stations even without discount
4. If you have car, buy fuel early morning when queue is less
