WHN Launches Free Training Program for Aspiring TNI Officers and Enlisted Members After Successfully Guiding Six Cadres into the Military
Jakarta, August 11, 2025 – Following its success in helping six of its members pass the rigorous selection process to join the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), Wawasan Hukum Nusantara (WHN) is once again opening its doors for a large-scale free training program for young Indonesians aspiring to serve in various TNI branches.
The program will be led by instructors with military backgrounds who are part of WHN, an organization known for its active role in education and legal advocacy. This initiative reflects WHN’s commitment to shaping a patriotic young generation dedicated to serving the nation through the armed forces.
WHN has a strong track record of empowering youth. To date, it has provided scholarships for 117 undergraduate law students across Indonesia. In 2025 alone, WHN celebrated the success of six of its members in TNI recruitment: five joining the TNI Army as enlisted soldiers (Tamtama) and one joining the TNI Air Force.
Participants in the new training program—aimed at future TNI officer candidates (Catar), non-commissioned officers (Caba), and enlisted soldiers (Catam)—will automatically become members of WHN. They will receive comprehensive training, including national defense education, Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, military law, physical conditioning, and proven strategies to pass TNI selection.
“In WHN, we do not wear imitation military uniforms or camouflage like the TNI,” said Arqam, a WHN representative. “Our mission is to guide our members so that they can officially earn the right to wear the TNI uniform by passing the selection process and becoming true members of the Indonesian Armed Forces.”
Through this program, WHN continues its mission of fostering disciplined, law-abiding, and patriotic young citizens ready to serve the country.
