Yesterday, Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly hosted the Deputy Minister for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development, Hon. Augustine Collins Ntim (MP) as part of his working visit to the Ashanti region.

His visit was basically to assess the performance, successes and setbacks of various government flagship programmes since 2017. Notable sectors of concern were Agric, Education and Health. The Assembly made a presentation on the performance of these sectors to the minister, Nananom, Assembly members, the media and other invited guests.

It is refreshing to know that, Atwima Kwanwoma District has chalked remarkable successes and we are also poised to working hard to achieve even more in the subsequent years. The invited guest and stakeholders, especially Nananom expressed their appreciation for the flagship programmes and called for more of such interventions.
