Keep Going, Please

The Day I Almost Quit Everything

I don’t remember the weather. I don’t remember what I had for breakfast. I only remember the feeling — a heaviness that made even breathing feel like work.

That was the day I almost quit everything. My plans. My goals. My dreams. I told myself it wasn’t worth it anymore.

But something small stopped me. It wasn’t a big speech or a life-changing event. It was a message from a friend. Just three words: Keep going, please.

Those words didn’t solve my problems. They didn’t erase the pain. But they reminded me that sometimes, the only thing we need to do is take the next step, even when we can’t see where it leads.

I didn’t quit that day. I didn’t win either. I just kept moving. And eventually, the heaviness started to lift.

Now, whenever I feel that weight again, I remember — progress isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s as quiet as deciding to try again tomorrow.

If you’re reading this and you’re close to quitting, I want to be that small message for you: Keep going, please.
