HOW I MANAGE SCHOOL AND WORK AS AN SS3 SALES BOY IN ABUJA

Follow

I am Clement, an SS3 student in Abuja. I go to school in the morning and work as a sales boy in the evening.

Many people ask me how I manage both without failing. It is not easy, but I try my best.

In the morning from 8am to 2pm, I am in school. I make sure to listen in class and write notes, especially for WAEC subjects like Maths and English.

From 4pm to 8pm, I go to my Oga's shop in Zuba to work as a sales boy. After work, I reach home around 8:30pm.

When I get home, I don't sleep immediately. I read my books for 1 hour from 9pm to 10pm. That one hour helps me a lot.

On weekends, I work more and also read more.

How I manage both:

1. I don't play too much after school.

2. I use small notebook to write what teacher taught.

3. I save small small money for my WAEC fee.

4. I don't forget to rest on Sunday afternoon.

My advice to other students who are hustling: Education is your future. Even if you are working, don't leave your books. Work is for now, but education is for your tomorrow.

I believe I will pass my WAEC and still save my life.
