So Brighton & Hove Albion boss Fabian Hurzeler, 33, has reportedly married his girlfriend, German actress Anna Karolin Berger, in a secret ceremony. According to German newspaper Bild, the private wedding happened during the recent three-week international break.

Neither Hurzeler nor Berger has released an official statement, but fans noticed a big clue. During Brighton's 5-0 win against Crystal Palace on Sunday, Hurzeler was seen wearing a wedding ring on his left hand.

This is not the first time the couple has kept things private. Hurzeler is known for keeping his personal life quiet. He and Anna only went public with their relationship in the summer of 2026 when they shared vacation photos from Mauritius. They were later seen together at the FIFA World Cup matches and at the Austrian Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Anna Karolin Berger, 34, is a popular face in Germany. She was born in Wetzlar in 1992 and studied at the Film Acting School Cologne. She has acted in many German TV shows like Tatort, Alarm für Cobra 11, and Alles was zählt. Her biggest role came in November 2025 when she joined the long-running German soap Sturm der Liebe (Storm of Love), where she plays jewellery designer Larissa Mahnke. She has now appeared in more than 170 episodes.

Their relationship has been long-distance. Hurzeler is based in Brighton on the south coast of England, while Berger works in Munich, Germany. Despite the distance, she has been seen supporting him at the Amex Stadium, including Brighton's 4-0 win over Aston Villa in August.

On the football side, Hurzeler is having an amazing season. Born in Houston, USA and raised in Munich, he became the youngest permanent manager in Premier League history when Brighton appointed him in June 2024 at just 31 years old. He had just led St. Pauli to promotion to the Bundesliga.

Last season he guided Brighton to European qualification, and this season Brighton is currently third on the Premier League table, behind only Manchester City and Arsenal. He recently signed a new contract until June 2029.

For now, fans are waiting for an official confirmation from the couple. But if the ring is anything to go by, the Premier League's most-wanted young manager is now officially off the market.
