One of the most popular websites in the world is the multilingual online encyclopaedia known as Wikipedia. Anyone can modify or add information to the site, making it a collaborative project. Wikipedia is a special and useful tool that offers clear information on a variety of subjects.

In 2001, Larry Sanger and Jimmy Wales launched the website. Wikipedia was designed to be a free, user-edited encyclopaedia that anybody, anywhere could access. Since its debut, Wikipedia has expanded to rank among the biggest and most visited websites worldwide. The website is now available in more than 300 languages and has more than six million articles only in English.
