Galatasaray are not done with Nigerian stars!
After securing Victor Osimhen in a 75 million euro deal, the Turkish giants are now targeting another Super Eagles star – Ademola Lookman.
According to reports from Turkey, Galatasaray board want to pair Osimhen with Lookman to create the deadliest Nigerian attack in Europe.
Lookman, who was named African Player of the Year, has been in sensational form for Atalanta. The 27-year-old winger scored a hat-trick in the Europa League final and has attracted interest from top clubs.
But Galatasaray believe they can convince him with the presence of Osimhen and the chance to play Champions League football.
A Turkish journalist, Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, revealed that Gala have made enquiries about Lookman and are willing to offer over 40 million euros.
If this deal happens, Nigeria will have two of its biggest stars playing together in Istanbul.
Osimhen has already settled well, scoring goals and becoming a fan favourite. Adding Lookman will make Galatasaray unstoppable in the Turkish league.
Nigerian fans have reacted with excitement on social media. Many believe Lookman and Osimhen together can help Galatasaray win the Champions League.
The January transfer window is close, and Galatasaray want to act fast before other clubs like Arsenal and PSG hijack the move.
Will Lookman join Osimhen in Turkey? Only time will tell, but talks are already underway.
What do you think – should Lookman join Galatasaray?
