BBC's Celebrity Traitors delivered its most shocking episode yet last night, and fans are still not over it.

EastEnders legend Ross Kemp was murdered in plain sight during Wednesday's episode, in a twist that nobody saw coming. The 60-year-old actor, famous for playing Grant Mitchell, was secretly eliminated by Traitors Maya Jama and comedian James Acaster.

The murder method was genius. The Traitors were told to make someone yawn. They managed to make Ross yawn in a crowded room without him realizing it was a murder plot. He only found out his fate when he opened a letter in the diary room.

His reaction was iconic. First, he quoted Shakespeare, saying "To thine own self be true," while a skull sat behind him. Then he switched back to his EastEnders character, staring into the camera and saying, "Well played Traitors, but you're always going to be Traitors... and I know where you live!"

Maya Jama, who is a Traitor this season alongside Alan Carr and Cat Burns, was seen celebrating in her confessional after the successful murder. Viewers on social media are praising her gameplay, calling her the best Traitor of the season.

In the same episode, model Jerry Hall was banished at the round table and received a standing ovation from her fellow celebrities.

Celebrity Traitors has become BBC's biggest hit this autumn, with over 8 million viewers. The show is filmed in a Scottish castle and hosted by Alan Cumming.
