The Isreal Gaza war is getting more intense as Isreali soldiers fighting on the front line have expressed anger over Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's son, Yair Netanyahu.
According to multiple reports, Yair Netanyahu, 32 years old, is currently living in Miami, Florida in the United States while over 360,000 Isreali reservists have been called back to fight against Hamas after the October 7 attack.
This call-up of 360,000 reservists is said to be the largest mobilization in Isreal's history. Many reservists left their jobs, families, and even traveled from different countries abroad to return home and defend the country.
However, the Prime Minister's son has been living in Miami since April 2023 and has not returned since the war started.
Many soldiers on the front line are asking why the leader's son is not in the country to show support. One soldier who spoke anonymously said, "Our fathers are sending us to fight, while his son is enjoying life in Miami."
The post by the soldiers went viral on Isreali social media and Telegram channels, sparking serious debate.
Some citizens are defending Yair, saying he is not a soldier and has the right to live anywhere he wants. Others say it is about leadership by example, especially when the Prime Minister is asking all Isrealis to make sacrifices.
The Isreali government has not yet officially responded to the criticism about Yair's location.
As the war continues in Gaza, many Isrealis believe that all citizens, including the families of leaders, should show solidarity.
