5 Simple Health Habits Every Student in Enugu Should Practice Daily As a student, it is easy to focus on school and fashion while neglecting your health. Here are 5 simple habits that can keep you healthy and active throughout the semester. 1. Drink Enough Water Many students in Enugu replace water with soda and energy drinks due to the heat. This leads to dehydration and constant tiredness. Try to drink at least 2 to 3 liters of water daily. Always carry a water bottle to class. 2. Do Not Skip Breakfast Skipping breakfast to save money or time affects your concentration in class. You do not need an expensive meal. A simple combination of bread and tea, or akara and pap, can give you enough energy until afternoon. 3. Get Enough Sleep Reading all night every day will break down your body. Your brain needs 6 to 8 hours of sleep to function properly. Plan your reading schedule ahead of exams instead of cramming overnight. 4. Keep Your Lodge and Environment Clean Dust, dirty plates, and untidy bathrooms can cause malaria, typhoid, and skin infections which are common in student lodges. Sweep your room regularly, dispose of waste properly, and wash your bedsheets at least twice a month. 5. Exercise Even Without a Gym You do not need a gym membership to stay fit. A 20-minute morning walk around your school, skipping, or doing push-ups in your lodge can improve blood circulation and reduce stress. Your health is your greatest asset as a student. Without good health, you cannot enjoy your studies or your style.
