Yemi Osinbajo, the vice president of Nigeria, is currently in the hospital and will soon have surgery.
Osinbajo need surgery to repair an injury he sustained while playing squash, according to POLITICS NIGERIA.
The Vice President's communications advisor, Laolu Akande, posted on social media to confirm the development;
VP Osinbajo is undergoing surgery today at the hospital due to persistent leg pain that may have resulted from an injury received while playing squash.
Later today, his doctors will provide an update on the course of treatment.
When the Vice-President was conspicuously absent from Osun State campaigning, there were rumors that things were not going well within the ruling party. This most recent information, however, has ended all of that.
