THE MIND (PSYCHE) NEEDS TO GROW TOO!

Growth is an essential evidence that disclose whether the living is progressing or not. It is one of the basic peculiarities that all living posses. It is the gradual increase in size that is accompanied with development. And also a journey that commence from the cradle (birth) to the grave (death), in order word so far as there is life growth is inevitable.

The mind is one of the most powerful aspect of our life that need growth just as our physical body. The mind is the set of faculties responsible for mental phenomena. This faculties includes thoughts, imagination, memory, will and sensation and each of these have unique although connected roles they perform which yields creativity and innovations. 

Therefore, just as our physical body needs healthy food to grow, the mind needs it's food too for growth and our performance. Here are the foods the mind needs for it's growth:

•Knowledge: The type of knowledge in this context is about positivity. The mind needs to be enlightened and this can be gotten from reading books, doing researches and paying attention to educative podcast and teachings. The practice enhances, memory improvement, mental stimulation, improves focus Android concentration, better and analytical thinking and lots more. The advantages are numerous.

•Practicing Meditation: This entails focusing your mind on a particular sphere, it’s a spiritual exercise that gives sense of calmness, peace and balance which aid both emotional and physical well being.

•Appreciate yourself, be thankful and hopeful, the mind it's part of us as  humans so it has connections to feelings too ,we all do have rewards and punishment centers up in our brains.

•Feed on inspirational and motivational contents. Though this doesn't work for everyone, it brings sense of optimism to the mind and as well help in curbing negative thoughts.

•Be a helping hand: According to research, people who help others solve problems tend to do better, in the sense that as you reinforce what you learn in the process of helping, new solutions are fed and taken up by the mind and this help to boost creativity.

•Spend time with positive minded people and folks with liked minds.

   It's also worthy to note that Sigmund Freud had described the mind to exist in three tiers ( conscious, subconscious and unconscious) these tiers mounted by three basic control pillars ( the ID, the Ego and the Superego) 

 

Conclusion: Growth is very essential in every aspect of our life, it not just solely about our physic. Therefore, for us to be productive, innovative, creative, impactful and mentally fit our mind need to grow too so feed it positively!
