The hardest step

The hardest step🚶🏿‍♀️

It was the hardest step I had to take walking away from negativity.

It’s the hardest step I took walking away from the chains that held my mind.

It was the hardest step I took walking away from my sin, shame which has crumbled me.

As I took that first step I came crumbling cos it was the first step I ever took in life, I was afraid cos I never knew how long I would stand, I could not trust my strength cos I had never walked.

But deep in my mind I made the resolution to take that step cos I was tired of been on the floor crippled by my weakness.

Like a little child, I stood up  took that first step with my  wobbling , tiny feet…one, two, three steps but oh!  I came crumbling, just then, right on time I felt an arm around me , He caught me before I could reach the ground.

…and then taking my little hands, He walked with me and My steps little at a time became stable.

The hand of Jesus is mighty💪

….to Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding Joy--- jude1:24

It was the hardest step but it was worth it.
