Orange Muffin Recipe
Ingredients
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 150 g sugar
- 10 g baking powder
- 2 g salt
- 100 g melted butter
- 200 g plain yogurt
- 2 eggs (about 100 g)
- Zest of 1 orange (about 10 g)
- 100 g fresh orange juice
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F) and prepare a muffin tin with paper liners.

In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, beat the eggs with the yogurt, melted butter, orange juice, and orange zest.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Divide the batter among the muffin cups, filling each liner about two-thirds full.

Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let cool for a few minutes before removing from the tin.
Muffin Cream Recipe (for Filling or Topping)
Ingredients
- 200 g cream cheese, softened
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 50 g unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Zest of 1 orange (optional, for flavor)
- 1-2 tbsp heavy cream (optional, for consistency)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and butter. Beat until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until fully incorporated and smooth.
- Add the vanilla extract and orange zest (if using), mixing until combined.
- If the cream is too thick, add heavy cream a tablespoon at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
- Use immediately as a filling for muffins or as a topping. you can add colours to your cream to personalise your muffins
