1-YEAR EXTENSION
Annual STNK (Vehicle Registration Certificate) renewal is a mandatory annual renewal. It is also often referred to as the annual Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB).
Requirements are:
1. Original KTP (ID Card) + 2 Photocopies
2. Original STNK (Vehicle Registration Certificate) + 2 Photocopies
3. Original BPKB (Vehicle Registration Certificate) / Leasing Certificate + 2 Photocopies
5-YEAR EXTENSION
A 5-Year STNK (Vehicle Registration Certificate) renewal is a mandatory annual renewal of the STNK or Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB). This renewal also includes the replacement of the vehicle's license plate.
The requirements are:
1. Original ID card + 2 photocopies
2. Original vehicle registration certificate + 2 photocopies
3. Original vehicle registration certificate/leasing certificate + 2 photocopies
4. Vehicle inspection
TRANSFER OF NAME
Transferring a vehicle is the transfer of ownership of a motor vehicle from the first owner to the second owner, and so on, at the same Samsat administration office.
The requirements are:
1. 2 copies of the new owner's ID card (KTP)
2. Original STNK (Vehicle Registration Certificate) + 2 copies of photocopies
3. Original BPKB (Vehicle Registration Certificate) + 2 copies of photocopies
4. Vehicle Inspection
5. Purchase Receipt
6. Release of Title (If the previous owner was a company)
INTERNATIONAL SAMSAT TRANSFER
Inter-Samsat TRANSFER is the transfer of vehicle ownership or the change of domicile from one Samsat to another within the regions of Jambi, West Sumatra, Riau, Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi.
The requirements are:
1. 2 copies of the new owner's ID card (photocopy)
2. Original STNK (vehicle registration certificate) + 2 copies of photocopies
3. Original BPKB (vehicle registration certificate) + 2 copies of photocopies
4. Vehicle inspection
5. Purchase receipt
6. Release of title (if the previous owner was a company)
WITHDRAWING OF DOCUMENTS
Out-of-town transfer (withdrawing of files) is the administrative process of withdrawing motor vehicle documents from Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi to be used for the transfer process in another destination area.
The requirements are:
1. 2 copies of the new owner's ID card (photocopy) from the destination area
2. Original STNK (vehicle registration certificate) + 2 copies of photocopies
3. Original BPKB (vehicle registration certificate) + 2 copies of photocopies
4. Vehicle inspection
5. Purchase receipt
6. Release of title (if the previous owner was a company)
DUPLICATE STNK
Lost STNK is the administrative process for resolving lost STNKs, specifically for STNKs issued by the Samsat (Vehicle Registration Office) in the administrative areas of Jakarta, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi.
The requirements are:
1. Original KTP (ID Card) + 2 Photocopies
2. Photocopy of STNK (if applicable)
3. Original BPKB (Vehicle Registration Certificate) / Leasing Certificate + 2 Photocopies
4. Vehicle Inspection
5. Police Report of Loss
