This method works on fallen banana or plantain trees, and here are the steps:

Step 1: Select your usual onions and then a healthy banana or plantain tree.

Step 2: Prepare the onions by soaking the setts or seeds in water.

Step 3: Create small pockets on the banana tree's trunk.

Step 4: Plant the soaked onions in the pockets.

Step 5: Care for the onions by watering lightly and monitoring growth.

Step 6: Harvest mature onions after about five months, depending on the variety.
