When nagging create what it's fears

Growing up, I felt like my parents watched everything I did as a girl. If I talked to guys or even just played with my age mates, it immediately became “you’ve started following boys.” The way they nagged and teased made me feel like I was already guilty, even when I hadn’t done anything. After a while, it messed with my head. I started thinking,

if they’re already accusing me and pushing my mind toward this, maybe I should just do it so I actually know what they’re talking about. That way, when they brought it up, I wouldn’t feel guilty or hurt because it would be true. And that’s how I ended up getting my first boyfriend.
