I Tested 10 Quick Money-Making Methods… and 90% Were a Waste of Time!
Let’s face it: we’ve all searched for fast and easy money online—especially when life gets financially tight. As a student living in Oman, I tested 10 different platforms over two intense weeks, spending hours each day trying apps, completing tasks, and chasing rewards. Here’s the honest truth: only 1 out of 10 methods gave me anything worth the time.
1.
HeyCash
This app was one of the few that actually paid me. It gives coins for installing apps, playing games, and completing offers. The payout is low—around $0.10 per app—but I managed to cash out within 2–3 days with patience. It’s slow, but real.
2.
Earnne
Another legit app, but frustrating. You need to reach $20 minimum to cash out, and the points come in small drops. Offers are limited in Oman, and unless you grind daily, the payout feels miles away. Still, it’s safe and real.
3.
Mode Earn App
This app pays you for activities like walking and listening to music. Sounds cool, right? I used it for 4 hours and earned just $0.02. Not worth the battery drain.
4.
Givvy Videos
Watch endless videos, earn coins. But with 1000 coins = $0.01, it would take days to reach the $1 mark. You’d better spend that time freelancing.
5.
Pawns.app
Supposedly pays for sharing internet. In Oman, the return was $0.01–$0.02/day, which means you’ll wait months to cash out even $5.
6.
Remotasks / OneForma / Clickworker
Real jobs, better pay, but most tasks need a laptop or strong English. Even worse: most jobs were not available in Oman.
7.
Honeygain
Same concept as Pawns.app. Nice in theory, useless in practice. My earnings didn’t even reach $0.05 in a week.
8.
Bounty Cashback
Great if you shop often and keep receipts. But if you’re broke (like I was), there’s nothing to upload = nothing to earn.
9.
Swagbucks
Very popular globally, but in Oman? The surveys rarely appear. I waited hours for nothing. Big disappointment.
10.
TapCoins / Poll Pay / Earnably
Either blocked in Oman or completely dead. I downloaded them, registered, and—nothing. No tasks. No income.
So, what actually works?
Out of everything, HeyCash was the fastest to pay, even if slow. Earnne has potential for those willing to commit long-term. But if you’re serious about earning online in Oman, I recommend skipping these apps and starting content writing or digital freelancing. That’s what finally worked for me.
